Head over to the Community tab under the Settings dashboard.
You will see an option to Integrate your Discourse Account. Click on Add Integration next to this option.
📌 Note: Integrating Discourse is a little different than the other options. You will have to generate an API key to be able to complete this integration. Make sure you are an Admin or have Admin access to the Discourse community because only Admins are allowed work with APIs.
First, enter your Discourse community domain URL.
As a second step, you will need to generate an API key on your Discourse platform. Step-by-step instructions on how to successfully generate API Key is given throughout the process.
Enter the API Key and your Discourse username in order to move on to the next step.
The third step is to create a webhook on your Discourse API. Follow the instructions as given on your screen and you'll be successfully able to integrate your Discourse account with Threado.
Here are some of the features of working with Discourse from Threado's dashboard -
On the Summary Dashboard, you can Send Messages to individual members but cannot Post it in the community. Also, you need to define the message title along with the message itself and it's sent from your account i.e. the admin account used while setting up the integration on Threado.
The same concept applies to Bulk messaging on the Members Dashboard, and for setting up Discourse DM workflows on the Automation Dashboard.
